Wheel Studies is an ongoing exploration of form through repetition and making.

The series began with a simple exercise: throwing similar vessels repeatedly and observing how small changes in pressure, proportion and movement affect the final form.

Each object is made by hand and retains the variations of the process. The dark clay body is paired with a pale, fluid glaze that pools, breaks and moves across the surface during firing.

Rather than seeking uniformity, the collection explores the relationship between repetition and difference- how a shared set of parameters can produce individual forms.

The work sits between study and object, developing an evolving vocabulary of volume, surface and touch.
